Ask Questions - after having a long study session we need to revise the material. You should ask questions regarding the topic like where this is useful, what I learned from it etc. This would help you understand topic in much better way .

Study in short chunks -studying in short chunks helps your synapses in the brain to recall much better than long study sessions. Try to use a Pomodoro timer or stopwatch of 30 min or 45min and gradually increase in order to go for a long sitting.

Revisions are a must - When I mean revision it doesn't mean to mug up information or material. You should prefer a smart way to revise. Revise topics on daily basis, then days and weeks. Try to use flashcards to revise in a faster and compact way.

Read aloud and recall - Reading aloud is the best way to memorize things for a long period of time. Try to close your eyes and recall your notes this will also help you. It will sharpen focus and improve your listening and reading skills too.

Aim to teach it- Try to explain the material in your words . Learn your material in such a way as if you were the teacher and after studying you can even teach someone who hasn't even studied that topic. This is also a good way to test your concepts .it will help you to build your logical understanding of the subject.

These are the hacks to study smarter. I hope this might help you to study smarter. Thanks for reading.
